This Little Light of Mine

This design came to be for three reasons: 
 
1. I woke up one day feeling void of creativity, so I forced myself to make something before I started my work day. 
2. We had a random scrap of linoleum block left over from one of my wife's projects. 
3. I like light.
 
The exercise of just picking a subject and forcing myself to make it without giving it too much thought was a good kickstart to my day. 
 
Adding a foil flame and text gives the linocut that little something extra.

These books are 3.5"x5" with 110lb Kraft covers and ~48 blank pages.
